Candlewood Suites Newport News-Yorktown by IHG

The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and happily answered any questions that I had. Special mentions for Dee Dee and China at the front desk, but honestly, all staff members were charming and a joy to interact with. Our room was exactly as advertised (we had a one bedroom suite), meaning that we could work and relax. The Wi-Fi internet was also good enough for my husband and I to both conduct individual meetings while we were on holiday. I used the Fitness Room a few times and was glad that it was there. Also, the courtesy washing machine and driers were added bonuses. And free coffee on tap! Being located so near to shops and restaurants was wonderful as we hadn't hired a car for our trip.

I was not aware of any breakfast offered.

The atmosphere was quiet... Staff was very friendly and very professional... I do plan on staying there again in the future...
